I have been busy knitting for Christmas. I have ignored all of you, and I apologize. This year is days away from its end. It has been a memorable year. I don’t think it will go down as a favorite, but there were good memories.
My niece graduated from high school. I got to see my oldest son, and that was a delight. A top memory for sure. He lives 450+ miles from here, and between our work schedules, we don’t get to see each other nearly enough.
I got to meet Murphy! Murphy’s dad is like my own child. It was a huge treat to see him and his wife, Gina. I got to meet their delightful little guy, Murphy! Another top memory!
My son Bryan and I spent a few days up north with my daughter. Another delightful time.
I have precious 2017 memories with people that are very dear to me, and that makes the rest of the year worthwhile.
I won’t make this a commentary on current events, but many of those events of 2017 have been unsettling, scary, worrisome. I am very nervous about the state of our country and of the world.
I read many wonderful books, and knitted things I am proud of.
I blogged much about Montana’s abominable fire season. It was memorable, but not in a good way. Still coughing from all of the smoke.
2017 will not be my favorite year, but I am concentrating on the delightful memories and looking forward to what 2018 will bring.
Happy 2018 to all of you!
